New G6 Primary Light

We have listened to customer feedback and have incorporated their input into the new G6 primary light design.

New narrower beam angle while still maintaining good peripheral light. The new 6˚ beam angle has a tighter and hotter center spot while still providing enough peripheral light to see around you. This new beam will perform better in all conditions, especially with silt or particulate.

New LED battery status indicator ring removes guessing the battery charge condition and will improve battery life cycle by eliminating unneeded charging.

When the light is plugged in to the battery canister and when it is turned on the LED indication ring will light each LED in order green, yellow, red. Then will show a constant color for the battery charge level. Green for the top 1/3, yellow for the middle 1/3, and red for the bottom 1/3. The LED indicator is working while under load to give an accurate indication of the battery charge.

When a minimum low voltage is reached the red LED indicator will shut off and the main light will flash multiple times then turn down to low. When the light shut off voltage is reached the main light will again flash multiple times before shutting off. As a third safety feature the light can be turned on again, even when at shut off voltage. It will again flash multiple times and turn down to low, then stay on for one minutes. The above safety features allow for deployment of a backup light when needed. The battery packs themselves have separate protection that will not allow the light to turn on if the battery packs are discharged to a level low enough to cause harm to them.

There are two primary lights available:
LD-40 – 4000 Lumen model, medium is 2000 Lumen, and low is 1000 Lumen.
LD-20 – 2000 Lumen model, medium is 1500 Lumen, and low is 1000 Lumen.
